Lazzeri won three awards for the best poinsettias

On January 19, 2023, the award ceremony for the best poinsettias organized by the Glastuinbouw Nederland & Royal Flora Holland association took place in Holland. Lazzeri is once again coming back home with three awards in the varietal comparison, thanks to their own poinsettia genetics. This is the fourth year in a row that this has happened.

The producers who stood out in the competition were: SV.CO in the 10.5 cm pot category, Freek van der Velden in the 12-13 cm pot category, and Baas in the 15 cm category. All three won with the 'Alaska' variety, which has now established itself as the reference variety in Europe for pure white. "Special thanks to the three producers who have identified in 'Alaska' a unique, pure white variety with great performance in cultivation, is ideal for all pot sizes, and is easy to transport," said a visibly satisfied Andrea Lazzeri, global product manager of Lazzeri.
