Last Tuesday, the Meet & Greet World of Sprayroses took place at the Secret Garden Boutique in Aalsmeer, the Netherlands. A group of traders, growers, and other stakeholders in the industry celebrated the launch of the World of Sprayroses trend magazine, a 100-page inspirational magazine that will hopefully boost the popularity of spray roses worldwide.

Guest of honor was Emma Coupe, head of purchasing at Marks and Spencer. She was created 'ambassador of spray roses,' as she is said to be both a fan as well as eager to buy and sell the flowers in shops all over the world. She was presented with the first copy and raised a toast together with the initiators and the visit.

The magazine is a production by Pascal Koeleman and Rudi Tuinman of 2Dezign and was commissioned by The World of Sprayroses, a foundation in which Interplant Roses and their growers unite to raise product awareness. "You have to keep surprising consumers and keep activating florists," Pascal knows. "Traditionally speaking, the Dutch floriculture sector does a good job selling its produce. We hope a magazine like this will contribute to that."
Secret Garden Boutique
The Secret Garden Boutique is a "pop-up lifestyle center" set up in the greenhouse of Parfum Flower Company. The showroom features fresh flowers and plants, which are combined with a wide range of home decor products such as pots, vases, and other decorative materials. The shop is also decorated by 2Dezign.
