US (CT): Flower and Garden Show to display 'Bursting Into Spring' exhibition through Feb. 25

There may be snow on the ground, but the indoor Connecticut Flower and Garden Show is in full bloom at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford.

The exhibition, organized by North East Expos, attracts more than 40,000 garden enthusiasts each year and allows people to promote garden products and services to customers, according to the show's website. This year's event, themed "Bursting Into Spring," began on Thursday and runs through Sunday, Feb. 25. The center is full of fresh flowers, garden equipment, and almost two dozen live gardens planted by professional landscape designers and nonprofit organizations.

More than 20 horticulturalists, landscapers, and industry professionals are set to present more than 80 hours of seminars and demonstrations, which are free with admission. The schedule of speakers can be found here.

Attendees can also check out more than 300 vendors showcasing flower displays, gardening supplies, handcrafted gifts, and other items. The full roster of vendors is listed on the show's website.
