UK: Young plants producer introduces virtual tour of its facility

Earley Ornamentals launches a virtual tour of its 12-acre site, aiming to provide an innovative way for visitors to explore the facilities remotely.

The virtual tour, featuring a drone fly through, offers a firsthand look at Earley Ornamentals' greenhouse technologies and automation systems. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience the computer-controlled greenhouses, the CombiFix-II gapping machine, and the filling and seeding areas. Additionally, they will be able to observe the new filling building, germination chamber, automatic irrigation booms and climate-managed transport fleet.

According to the company, robotics and automation systems play a key role in enhancing productivity at the facility: "A highlight of the tour is the demonstration of the CombiFix-II gapping machine, specifically tailored to accommodate the company's 480 and 360 trays, showcasing the precision gap-filling capabilities that ensure high-quality young plant stock."
