Christian Velez and Guillermo Mahecha have joined Paardekooper Americas as sales representatives.
Christian Velez embarks on his new journey with Paardekooper Americas with a solid foundation in the flower industry. Since starting his career in 2017 as a sales representative with a farm grower in Rionegro, Christian has developed a deep-seated passion for flowers and sales. His transition to the packing sector in 2023 marks a significant step in his professional journey. He sees Paardekooper as the ideal company to enrich his knowledge of the packing industry while continuing to play a pivotal role in nurturing the growth of the flower industry and expanding his professional skills.
Guillermo Mahecha also brings a rich background in the floral industry to Paardekooper Americas. Beginning his career in 2017 in the sales department for Chrysanthemum breeding, Guillermo spent nearly six years in the breeding sector and an additional year on a production farm as a sales team member. His passion for the flower business, coupled with a brief hiatus, has only strengthened his dedication to the industry. Guillermo is enthusiastic about learning new aspects of the business at Paardekooper, appreciating the support from The Netherlands and leveraging his proficiency in Dutch to ensure tasks are completed effectively.
