Ripley High School has a new course that has grown over the last couple of years. Eyewitness News stopped in the Floriculture class
"This is an opportunity that students have to work with flowers and work with things in agriculture to receive that same credit that you would get through taking an art class or a pottery class," Levi Knopp, FFA officer, said.
Emily Jackson is the Agriculture education teacher and said the class keeps blossoming starting with around 15 students to now 90. The Department of Education has even helped sponsor a new floral cooler for the student's new classroom.
