US: MSU sustainability research results to be revealed in webinar

The results from the new study, "Perceptions of Environmentalism & the Use of Sustainable Floral Design Practices," will soon be presented. The study explores the scope of sustainable practices currently being incorporated into retail floral businesses, perceived barriers, and opportunities for improved resources and education.

An overview of the study and highlights from the key findings will be presented by Dr. Coleman Etheredge from Mississippi State University on October 2nd at 1 PM EST. Following the presentation, there will be time for a Q&A with the researcher.

This study is coordinated by the Floral Marketing Fund in cooperation with the American Floral Endowment (AFE) and co-sponsored by floral industry companies, BloomNet, an international floral and gift industry service provider, and Syndicate Sales, a floral hardgoods supplier. The study was led by Dr. Coleman L. Etheredge (Mississippi State University - webinar presenter pictured), Dr. James DelPrince (Mississippi State University Coastal Research & Extension Center), and Dr. Tina M. Waliczek (Texas State University).
