The Society of American Florists (SAF) is accepting entries for its 31st Annual Marketer of the Year Contest, offering standout floral businesses the chance to win $5,000, national recognition, and the cover story in Floral Management magazine. The deadline to enter is May 31.
"We're looking for marketing campaigns that are innovative, effective, and inspiring," says Amanda Jedlinsky, Floral Management Editor in Chief. "Whether you used digital tools, rebranded your business, highlighted company culture, or found new ways to connect with customers—this is your chance to be recognized."

Judges are looking for campaigns that blend creativity with measurable results. "You don't have to reinvent the wheel," says former judge Melanie Spilbeler of Choice Farms. "Simple ideas applied in smart, fresh ways can be incredibly effective."
Here are a few tips for crafting a winning entry: lead with impact by clearly stating your campaign and results upfront; share the 'why' by explaining the challenge you addressed and how your campaign responded; be transparent by sharing the full story, including what didn't go as planned; show your numbers by including quantifiable results like revenue growth, web traffic, or engagement metrics; and make it visual by including supporting materials such as photos, social media posts, charts, or print collateral.
"We want to hear how your idea evolved and what others in the industry can learn from it," says past judge Dani Mackey of Dani Mackey Communications. "Presentation matters—treat your entry like a resume."
