Dutch datalogger innovation expands into the Latin American market

Tapp has entered into a partnership with FreightWise, a logistics company specialized in the transport of floriculture products between Latin America and the Netherlands. The collaboration allows flower growers in Colombia and Ecuador to purchase Tapp dataloggers directly through FreightWise.

Through this partnership, Latin American growers can now use Tapp's paper dataloggers to continuously monitor temperature and humidity throughout the entire transport journey. Upon arrival, exporters can review the complete transport history and identify any deviations in the cold chain.

"The floriculture industry requires reliable monitoring solutions that align with sustainability goals," says Niels Postma of Tapp. "With FreightWise as our partner, we can now efficiently serve one of the world's most important flower export regions—while helping to reduce electronic waste."

Unique paper technology
Tapp is the world's only provider of fully paper-based dataloggers that can be read without the need for an app. The company collaborates with leading industry players such as Dümmen Orange and Syngenta.

Next week, Tapp will be present at the International Floriculture & Horticulture Trade Fair (IFTF) in Vijfhuizen, the Netherlands, where the company will share more details about its partnership with FreightWise and explore new collaborations.
