A workshop on Soil Health Management and Balanced Fertilizer Use was organized on 21.04.2026 for the project staff of All India Coordinated Research Project on Floriculture (AICRP on Floriculture). The event was attended by 30 scientists from across the country. The initiative aims to promote sustainable and efficient nutrient management practices in floriculture crops.
ICAR has outlined key activities to be implemented over the next six months, including creating awareness on balanced fertilization, accelerating the adoption of Integrated Nutrient Management (INM), encouraging the use of organic inputs and biofertilizers, and promoting green manuring and biomass recycling for long-term sustainability.
