Canada: 200 varieties on display at Vineland

The Vineland Research and Innovation Centre held a public open house to showcase over 200 unique vegetative and seed flower cultivars in Ontario, Canada. "This open house is an opportunity to show off new cultivars that will be on the market next year. We are doing a variety trial on bedding plants for a number of years. This year, however, it is open for the public. In this way we can evaluate how suited they are for the Ontario market place. This trial is specialized on plants in containers only." This is explained by Rodger Tschanz, Greenhouse Technician of the University of Guelp.
