Take a peek in the new greenhouse of Azerbaijan grower AZ Rose

Ever wondered how cut roses are grown in an Azerbaijan greenhouse? This 4-minute video from AZ Rose gives you an insight in their 3 ha greenhouse that is based in Vandam village of Gabala region where they grow different rose varieties for the local and international markets.

In 2017, they, together with Bosman van Zaal, started to build the (earthquake resistant) greenhouse and in 2019, they could plant the first rose plants. Click here for the article with more information on the greenhouse and the techniques, that we published earlier this year.

In their Gabala project they cultivate ”Red Naomi”, “Avalanche+”, “Talea”, “Aqua”, “Sweet Avalanche”, “Jumilia”, “Wow” and “London eye” varieties for domestic and overseas markets. "The main purpose of selling products to the market under the brand name “Made in Azerbaijan” is to successfully represent the name of our country in the international arena, as well as to increase the diversity under the brand name."
