The open days of Italian breeder and young plant supplier Lazzeri welcomed over 300 growers, salesforce, distributors and licensees from all over Europe on November 22 and 23. They opened the doors of their 10ha greenhouse in Sabaudia (LT), Italy and presented many poinsettias, different cyclamens, new interspecific geraniums and the new dipladenia series. They sent us some pictures to get an impression of the event.
100% Made in Italy
Lazzeri has been operating in horticulture since 1927 and has more than 40 years of experience in rooting. All Lazzeri's young plants are being produced in Sabaudia, 100 km South of Rome. "At this location, we have the absolute best and ideal light and climate conditions during the whole year", Andrea Lazzeri, Product Manager at the company says. Many of their mother plants are in Italy. "Compared to most other companies, we still believe in Regional production."
