The California Summer Trials (CAST) are in full swing. They took off yesterday, on June 23, and will last till June 27, where several breeders are showcasing their varieties throughout California. So, how was the first day? According to Sirekit Mol of Beekenkamp Plants, one of the participants, vibes are positive – everyone is happy to see each other again, the weather is nice (not too hot), and the quality of visitors is high. To give an impression of what's on display, she shared some pictures they took at their host location, Green Fuse Botanicals in Santa Paula. Here, Hem Genetics, Schoneveld Breeding and Westhoff are also presenting their varieties.
