Blue carnations on display in Japanese parks for Mother's Day

Suntory Flowers marked Mother's Day this spring with a series of limited-time floral installations at four prominent parks across Japan. Heart-shaped objects crafted entirely from Mooncarnations were displayed at Funabashi Andersen Park, Kyoto Botanical Gardens, Nagai Botanical Garden, and Hamanako Garden Park.

The installations were designed to evoke gratitude and heartfelt appreciation, themes central to the Mother's Day celebration. Conceived as immersive photo spots, each heart-shaped structure invited visitors to step into a world of rare blue blooms and create lasting memories in the company of their distinctive, serene beauty.

Mooncarnation, Suntory Flowers' pioneering blue carnation, remains the only flower of its kind in the world. By bringing it to parks in multiple cities simultaneously, Suntory Flowers offered the Japanese public an opportunity to experience these flowers up close, in a setting that combined natural surroundings with a touch of the fantastical.
