Steenks Service has reached an extraordinary milestone. Last week Steenks Service proudly delivered the 200th Stefix 135 to tree nursery E. Van Dijck. To celebrate this, Steenks Service treated the company to a delicious cake.
The need for a clean work environment
E. van Dijck is a tree nursery located in Zundert (North Brabant, the Netherlands) that has specialized over the years in growing conifers and shrubs. The plants are grown indoors and outdoors on special designated root cloth cultivation floors. To be able to deliver the highest possible quality, the work environment of the tree nursery must be spotless.
In the past, the cultivation floors were kept clean with a brush sweeper. The main disadvantage of this solution is that the floor does not get clean; the dirt is merely moved rather than removed. In addition, the dirt increasingly settled in the holes of the cultivation floor, causing them to become clogged. Finally, sweeping the floor took a lot of time and labor. The Stefix 135 ground cover sweeper proved to be the ideal solution for E. van Dijck and their issue of finding a more efficient solution for cleaning the work environment.
A special milestone for Steenks Service
In six years, Steenks Service has reached the milestone of selling two hundred Stefix 135 ground cover sweepers. Introduced in 2016, the machine is specially designed to drive over root cloth cultivation floors and clean them simultaneously, both inside and outside the greenhouse. Furthermore, the Stefix 135 is multi-purpose; the machine can also be used to sweep ordinary concrete floors, pavements, and asphalt.
The introduction of the Stefix 135 arose from a practical demand from suppliers of cultivation floors and growers who work with cultivation floors. With the achievement of this special milestone, it can be concluded that the Stefix 135 is a success, also on a global scale. The sweeper does an excellent job and requires little maintenance from the user. Of course, the professionals of Steenks Service continue to develop the Stefix 135. On to the next milestone.
