Australian florist takes over red carpet at 2022 Aria Awards

In an endeavor to bolster its sponsorship and partnership network, Australia’s largest and longest-serving florist, Interflora Australia has today been named as the exclusive Red Carpet designated presenting partner of the 2022 ARIA Awards. As part of the signed sponsorship deal, Interflora will be bringing the Red Carpet presented by Interflora to life with its beloved fresh and bright range of floral arrangements to compliment this year’s chosen floral theme.

The floral arrangements will be showcased on a co-branded set comprising production, design, installation and florals. The 2022 ARIA Awards winners will be gifted a bouquet of Interflora florals and selected guests will be professionally styled to incorporate Interflora florals in their attire. The Red Carpet presented by Interflora will be hosted by Richard Wilkins, Christian Wilkins, and Lucinda “Froomes” Price.

On the deal, Interflora’s Chief Executive Officer, Gerry Gerrard said, “Interflora is extremely excited and proud to be the official Red Carpet sponsor at the 2022 ARIA Awards. As a 100 percent Australian-owned company, it was a no-brainer to support one of Australia’s most prestigious award ceremonies.

“It is a fabulous opportunity for the 2022 ARIA Awards attendees to indulge in the Interflora floral space and capture some amazing moments on the Red Carpet presented by Interflora.” Annabelle Herd, Chief Executive Officer at Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) said, “Interflora have delivered exceptional value to this year’s ARIA Awards as a presenting partner, helping us to deliver a production that will be visually stunning and wholly unique. Each year, we strive to deliver exciting and memorable ways to present the incredible creativity of Australian music to the world through the awards. I am absolutely confident that Interflora’s work will bring that and much more.”

An integral part of Interflora’s strategic direction, sponsorships and partnerships allow the go-to floral brand to tap into a wider audience and broaden its core customer demographic. Every year, Interflora delivers more than 400,000 floral and hampers orders in Australia, as well as internationally, through the Interflora WorldWide network.

Since its inception in 1954, Interflora has aligned itself with a number of reputable charities and organisations including the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia, Ovarian Cancer Australia, the Royal Botanical Gardens of Australia and the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam

. In 2023, Interflora is planning to double down on its sponsorship and partnership activities, with some major deals already in the pipeline. The 2022 ARIA Awards will showcase the best that homegrown music has to offer with a rocking line-up of performers coming together to make the first live and in-person Awards since 2019. Australian music's night of nights returns with a bang from 7.30pm Thursday, 24 November at The Hordern Pavilion on Gadigal land.
