Astronova ready for further rollout after pilot phase

Following nearly ten years of development and a successful pilot and market introduction, Royal Van Zanten, Together2Grow and Coloríginz (part of Dutch Flower Group) are taking the next step with Astronova. This strategic collaboration across the supply chain forms the foundation for the continued growth and development of this new cut flower.

A unique collaboration for a distinctive flower
After the initial pilot and market introduction phase, the availability of Astronova will be further expanded in the coming autumn. The flower stands out with its large, dynamic bloom shape, rich colours and a vase life of up to 14 days. Astronova not only performs beautifully as a single stem but also adds clear value to bouquets, acting as a true eye-catcher.

Production focuses on quality and controlled volumes, with a primary focus on the European market. Distribution takes place via exporting wholesalers and delivery drivers supplying florists and the wholesale trade, and is gradually expanding into the high-end retail segment. Astronova is exclusively available through Coloríginz.

Range and innovation
Astronova is currently available in four varieties: Capella, Libra, Rigel and Thabit, in stem lengths of 60 and 70 cm. Breeding and development remain ongoing. New varieties and colour variations are continuously being developed, further expanding the range and responding to market demand.

Growing visibility
Astronova is gaining strong visibility in the market and is increasingly featured on social media, at florists, and at international trade fairs such as TradeFair, IPM, My Plant & Garden and Flora Expo Astana in Kazakhstan.
