UK: Fiona Fell reappointed to Covent Garden Market Authority board

Fiona Fell has been reappointed to the board of Covent Garden Market Authority (CGMA) as a Non-Executive Director for a second term. Her reappointment follows that of Sarah Calcutt and David Fison, who were both reappointed to the board for second terms in 2023.

CGMA is a public corporation that runs New Covent Garden Market, the UK's largest fresh produce wholesale market and is accountable to Defra. Defra Ministers made these reappointments by the Governance Code on Public Appointments. All reappointments were made on merit and political activity played no part in the decision process.

CGMA's General Manager Jo Breare said: "The diverse skills and expertise that Fiona, Sarah, and David bring to the CGMA board will continue to be invaluable in ensuring the success of New Covent Garden Market and the redevelopment of the market infrastructure."
