Taiwan: SOGO Orchids opens doors for annual Open House

SOGO Orchids continues its annual tradition, opening its doors to Phalaenopsis growers from around the globe, showcasing over 400 varieties. This year's Open House held special significance as it marked the first event under the new SOGO Orchids brand, following their acquisition from Dümmen Orange in 2024.

From March 3rd to 22nd, SOGO Orchids hosted their annual Open House, inviting Phalaenopsis growers worldwide to explore the cutting-edge breeding innovations in breeding programs. This timing was chosen to coincide with the Taiwan International Orchids Show (TIOS), held annually during March, offering visitors a comprehensive experience.

SOGO Orchids was particularly excited to introduce over 200 newly bred varieties, demonstrating their ongoing dedication to pushing the boundaries of Phalaenopsis cultivation. This was deeply rooted in their history, tracing back to the SOGO Team Company in 1998, where they began their journey in the Phalaenopsis market.

To make the Open House truly exceptional, SOGO Orchids expanded its showroom to display all varieties, highlighting their group performance. This enhancement improved the visiting experience for growers, enabling them to select the most suitable varieties for their markets with greater ease.
