The 2025 Floral Distribution Conference wraps up today. Organized by the Wholesale Florist & Florist Supplier Association (WFFSA), this members-only event began on March 2, providing networking opportunities for professionals in the floral industry. Attendees have had time to connect, exchange ideas, and discuss business. In addition to presentations, meetings, and discussion groups, the event features a Table Top Showcase, where the latest products are on display, allowing members to engage with suppliers and wholesalers and explore new business opportunities.
For the first time, WFFSA organized the Floral Xcellence Award Winners, a competition spotlighting innovation, artistry and quality in the global floriculture industry, sponsored by Flowers of Colombia and Proflora 2025 by Asocolflores. Yesterday, the first winners were announced. the Breeder Excellence award went to Danziger for Unicorn and the Grower Excellence award went to Florisol&Co for Chrysanthemum Super Magnum. "Winning the Breeder Excellence Award for Unicorn is a recognition of innovation that serves the entire chain — from grower to florist to final customer," says Ori Danziger, Deputy CEO of Danziger. The WFFSA Member Favorite Award winner will be announced today (March 5) during their President's Address; stay tuned or follow their WFFSA's social media channels to see who will win.
