UK: The secret to North Yorkshire's garden season

With summer just around the corner, the North Yorkshire Council's horticultural team is busy caring for a diverse array of plants in the glasshouses at the Harrogate nursery on Nursery Lane.

From bold seasonal bedding plants and delicate trailing blooms, to ready-to-go hanging baskets and colour containers, there is something for every type of garden. Located at Nursery Lane, the nursery has been rooted in the community since 1974 growing displays for our public spaces.

Some of the same standout varieties seen in town centres and parks are available for residents to buy at the site – including many featured in the video - or to buy online.

Although not a traditional garden centre, the site stocks garden-ready favourites alongside compost, containers and other essentials.
