And an app with real-time price- and market information will be launched

By the end of 2020, all orders will be digitalized at Floriday

With “100% Floriday,” the cooperation will make it so that by the end of 2020, all supplies, for both the clock and the once going directly to retail, will go through Floriday and digital platforms.

Besides digitalizing the direct transactions, a lot of work is being put in to connect the clock to Floriday, so that all transactions will go via Floriday.

What does this mean for growers and buyers?
From that moment on, all direct transactions will go via Floriday, FloraMondo, FloraXchange, Blueroots, or an (API)-link.

For the growers, this would mean that their entire supply for direct trading would go via Floriday. This would also mean that from the end of 2020 onwards, no trades via the traditional Connect-EAB will take place. For trading parties, this means that their orders via Royal FloraHolland can only be placed on digital sales channels after 2020.

Insights
Floriday is also presenting a new app, with which growers can get real-time insights into the price- and market developments. Clock prizes and turnovers become available in an easy to understand dashboard directly after the auction. On the dashboard, people can also find an overview of the most influential buyers and the average price. Also, in the clock report, the grower can easily see their own auction position within their auction group so they can compare themselves to the other growers. The app also provides more insight into the pricing in the different auction locations and comes with a statistics tool that can easily make personal reports that give a clear overview of pricing over time. Users can also compare their own data to the data from the auction.

Insights is the successor of FloraneXt. Growers can get a subscription to Insights. FloraneXt subscribers can get a free trial for Insights till the 31st of December 2019. For more information or to subscribe, click here.
