Seed breeding company Benary is opening its doors for the 2022 Pansy & Viola Trials. At kwekerij Aarninkhof, they will show their pansy and viola varieties.
"This is a very comprehensive trial where our customers can see our diverse cornuta and wittrockaina varieties. The Benary series are displayed in direct comparison to the matching colors of the competitive series regarding earliness, a flowering window within the entire series, pot filling potential, and uniformity of habit," says Gundula Wagner from Benary.
The displayed series are:
- Inspire Plus Viola wittrockiana: for spring and summer production: 28 varieties/colors
- Inspire DeluXXe Viola wittrockiana: large-flowered Pansy for late summer: 15 varieties/colors
- Admire Viola cornuta: trendy small flowers: for spring and summer production: 29 varieties/colors
- Cats Plus and Cats: Viola wittrockiana: each a series of 5 colors: Pansy with Whiskers (looks like a Cat's face)
Benary also presents some" Experimentals" within their various series, possible new introductions, and colors to the customers for evaluation.
