Dutch Spring Trials 2023 – That is new from Benary

From May 1 to 4, 2023, this year's Dutch Spring Trials will be held at Benary in Venhuizen, NL. In addition to novelty highlights and top sellers, selected proven series will be on display in direct comparison with competitive varieties. Completely in the style of the Pack Trials, which have been appreciated for many years.

As one of the world's leading breeders of begonias, Benary again presents another new begonia series this season.

Magical - Mystical - Monumental

Stonehedge™ – Begonia interspecific F1
"Magical - Mystical– Monumental. This is Stonehedge™. The first interspecific multiflora Begonia on the market. Its appearance is impressive in every respect: especially in terms of its growth height, flowering vigor and branching.  Stonehedge™ also impresses with its contrasting bronze-colored foliage." This coming season Benary introduces 2 colors; more to follow: Light Pink Bronze Leaf and Rose Bronze Leaf.

Rose Bronze Leaf and Light Pink Bronze Leaf

"Due to its round mounding habit, it can also be used as a flowering hedge that has an impressive long-distance effect."

Zany Sunny-Side Up - Gazania rigens F1
Zany Sunny-Side Up is the sixth color in the Gazania series Zany and is a Fleuroselect Gold Medal winner. "The series scores with a very uniform flowering window of 3-5 days as well as a compact plant habit. Zany has been specially developed for pot and pack production, but also shows excellent outdoor performance." Benary offers the seed as BeGreen Coating: chemical and microplastics free.
