The young plant and breeding company Brandkamp is presenting new varieties for its breeding lines Jollies Fuchsias, Tropic Lantanas, and Marisco Petunias.
Three new varieties are being added to the Jollies fuchsia breeding line, which has been successful for years:
Jollies Melun: "With its bright red/blue flowers, it will certainly quickly find its place in the range. Growing a little faster than the top variety of Jollies Nantes, it complements them in this important color segment. Of course, she also brings all the positive qualities of the Jollies family. It has a bushy, well-branched habit, attractive colored buds, and ensures continuous flowering throughout the summer."
"Jollies Royan in soft pink/lavender is a charming color combination. Together with the white-green buds, it creates a very attractive picture. The flowers are on very stable stems. This previously missing color combination impressively complements the existing range."
In the particularly small-flowered fuchsia segment, Jollies Petit Evian, a bright red/blue variety, is coming onto the market. "All Jollies Petit varieties have small flowers, bloom very early and profusely. Jollies Petit are exactly the right group of varieties, especially for production in small pots and packs."
With the Tropic Lantanas, there is only one novelty for the coming season, but it has it all, according to the breeder. "Bright orange with red flower parts, very early flowering, cold tolerant, and with a perfect bushy habit, this is Tropic Lantana Sundowner. Pure and simple, an ideal Lantana."
The Marisco petunia series is enhanced by Marisco Hot Pink. "With its bright pink, the fashion color par excellence at the moment, it can be combined very well. Also, it does not grow so much that it would overgrow partner plants. The flowers are beautifully shaped and last a long time. Certainly one of the most important varieties of Marisco petunias in the near future."
Marisco Pink Star is a bicolor white/dark pink petunia with a slightly arching habit. "The two-tone color is very stable and holds up even at high summer temperatures, which is not always the case with petunias. An ideal partner for young, fresh, colorful combinations with other plants."
