IFTEX is off to a start in Nairobi, Kenya

The 11th edition of Iftex in Nairobi, Kenya, has kicked off as even more partners in the floral trade are attending than last year, with close to 200 exhibitors. Many flower growers are showing new varieties for export.

With the recent floods and extreme weather circumstances, Kenyan growers are facing challenges. According to Chris Kulei, Chairman of KFC the weather circumstances are a result of climate change, which makes the topic of sustainability even more important for this 11th edition of Iftex.
