IFTEX, FlowerTrials, GreenTech and the Dutch Lily Days

It's time to take a look back at June 2025. There were lots of trade shows and events going on, so we have several photo reports to look through!

Photo report: IFTEX 2025

Over the course of three days, the Visa Oshwal Center in Nairobi, Kenya, welcomed visitors from around the world for IFTEX 2025. Nearly 200 exhibitors showcased their products and services from Monday through Thursday. According to the organizer, HPP Exhibitions, approximately 6,000 visitors attended on both the first and second day, with strong foot traffic continuing into the third. Rain or shine, the FlowerTrials is one of the biggest events in week 24. This year's edition basked in sunshine, setting the stage for a vibrant showcase. Across 27 locations, 56 breeders presented their latest innovations alongside their existing assortments. We visited all sites and captured their highlights in our photo report.

With a fresh new look, Ecuador-based spray rose producer Alma is making a statement in the market. The company has introduced an updated packaging design that reflects its deep-rooted passion for spray roses. "Our new packaging is more than just a redesign," says Viviana Alexandra Guanulema Marin of Alma. "It's a reflection of who we are as a company. We wanted it to feel intentional, subtle, and confident—just like our spray roses."

Photo Report: GreenTech 2025

"Everybody here speaks the same language — and I'm referring to the language of cultivation. Not Italian or Spanish, but the greenhouse language. That's why I want to be here." That's how one of the exhibitors summarized his experience at GreenTech 2025, the event that took place this week in Amsterdam, Netherlands. And today, it's picture time. Photo report: Dutch Lily Days 2025

From June 3 to 6, a total of 13 lily bulb exporters opened the doors of their test greenhouses to their customers from far and wide. The exporters test the properties and quality of their bulbs in these greenhouses. They also test the potential of different varieties for a future-proof bulb sector. The international visitors primarily discussed the resilience and availability of lily bulbs.
