Egypt's Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation Alaa Farouk and Minister of Social Solidarity Maya Morsy inaugurated on Thursday the 93rd edition of the Spring Flowers Exhibition at the Agricultural Museum in Dokki.
The opening took place in the presence of Cairo Governor Ibrahim Saber and Central Auditing Organization (CAO) President Mohamed El-Faisal Youssef. It was attended by several ambassadors and representatives of diplomatic missions in Cairo, alongside ministry officials, industry specialists, and a large number of exhibitors.
Minister Farouk announced that the exhibition will be extended until the end of May, instead of mid-month, with exhibitors exempted from additional fees for the extension, citing strong public turnout and continued support for the sector.
The minister toured the exhibition's pavilions and met with producers and participants. This year's edition features more than 100 exhibitors, including major nurseries, landscape designers, ornamental plant producers, and suppliers of agricultural inputs. The exhibition showcases a wide range of rare flowers, shade plants, cacti, and modern landscaping designs.
