Plantarium is and will always be pre-eminently a grower's trade fair. Growers are the largest group among professional visitors (35%) as well as the field of participants (55%). They produce starting material in all phases, from cuttings to mature plants with root balls or in containers. Other professional visitors mainly consist of merchants (21%) and garden centres/retail (21%). Besides growers, the participants include retailers & retail concepts (30%) and supply companies (15%). Growers are aware of the importance of good starting material when it comes to, among other things, the authenticity of varieties, the technology applied, reliable delivery, service and advice. Plantarium brings growers together and encourages them to exchange their knowledge of the trade. This way, Plantarium provides visitors with a glimpse behind the scenes in the world of starting material. During the trade fair, we offer special guided tours to participants with starting material.
Plantarium offers participants extra publicity
Agreements have been made with Dutch trade journals to generate extra publicity for those participating in Plantarium. In connection with this, the promotion 'Plantarium Specials' will be introduced. Various themes (specials) will put the focus on participants and they will be given the possibility to promote a particular novelty, new development, new/retail concept or starting material as well as their company. The Plantarium Specials will be in various Dutch trade journals, including De Boomkwekerij, Tuin en Landschap, Boom in Business and Tuinzaken. Registration before 1 March 2019
The 37th edition of Plantarium will be held from 21 to 23 August 2019, Denemarkenlaan, at the International Trade Centre Boskoop-Hazerswoude. Information and registration forms can be found on www.plantarium.nl. Register before 1 March 2019: a 2% discount on your advance bill and "guaranteed space", taking preference into account. Registration is possible until 1 April 2019, after that on a first come, first served basis, if places remain available.
