At this 3-day event, which took off yesterday, more than 100 exhibitors from 10 countries Belarus, the Netherlands, Italy, Kazakhstan, Colombia, Latvia, Kenya, Russia, Israel, and Ecuador) are participating.

Also from the Netherlands is the breeding company Deliflor Chrysanten who are exhibiting at this show for many years. This year, they were handing out Baltica's in special golden sleeves to the visitors at the show.

"We brought 500 stems of beautiful white Balticas," said Bob Persoon, who is in Astana for Deliflor, along with colleague Marchel de Haan. "Visitors respond very enthusiastically and gladly accept the special golden sleeve with Baltica. This top Deliflor variety is well known to many visitors from this region and remains one of the most appreciated chrysanthemum varieties," said Bob. "It is good to be present in this region and to showcase Deliflor's extensive assortment and have personal contact. The economic development of Kazakhstan is positive, and the purchasing power is also growing, so it is an interesting country to promote our product, Marchel adds."

In addition to Baltica, new Deliflor varieties will also be shown in Kazakhstan to inspire florists. For example, new santinis such as Baykal and Baykal Lunar, as well as the light green Turtle and salmon-colored Babette, will be on display. The newest fluff chrysanthemum Honeymoon, introduced this week by Vannova J&A Flowers, is also already in Astana. Also highlighted in the stand are the special dark pink spray chrysanthemum Couture and the unusually shaped Etrusko from Arcadia, as well as the successful spray chrysanthemums Babe and Abbey from Zentoo and Deligreen from Linflowers.
