US: Tariffs push up flower prices, but shoppers keep spending

Tariffs drove up flower prices ahead of Mother's Day, but that did not seem to stop people from spending. Julia Vargas Jones of CNN Los Angeles visited the California Flower Mall—the largest flower district in the city—to speak with florists about the impact of the tariffs. With 60 percent of the flowers sold at the mall imported from Colombia, many vendors felt the pressure.
