Goyang Special City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Donghwan Lee) announced that Mayor Donghwan Lee visited a rose cultivation farm in Gusan-dong, Ilsanseo District on the 27th.
During this visit, he observed the technological expertise of the farm, which is producing high value-added roses through the 'Mulollim (color processing)' technique, and encouraged the farm representatives.
The farm visited on the 27th cultivates high-quality white roses in a greenhouse covering approximately 4,000 square meters. In particular, using the Mulollim (color processing) technique, they produce distinctive products with purple-tipped petals. These products have been continuously exported to the Japanese market for the past 20 years, earning recognition for their technological capabilities. Additionally, these roses were displayed and sold at a pop-up store during the recent BTS concert period, proving their popularity and commercial value.
Mayor Donghwan Lee of Goyang stated, "Innovative farms that create high added value through differentiated technology are the driving force behind the competitiveness of Goyang's agriculture," adding, "We will actively support the expansion of sales channels so that the excellence of our floriculture can reach the global market."
